Some spaces are made to be occupied. Cinderella Deep was made to be shared.

Located on the ground floor of a Redfern terrace in Sydney, the space was designed by architect Valeria Geller of Geller Studio as a place for coming together. A hub for enterprise, camaraderie and exchange, where ideas are shared over news, meals and work.

At its centre is a simple but powerful idea: that a room can do more when it invites people in, rather than keeping them apart.

Warm materials like walnut, cork, textured leather and existing brick are balanced with cooler, more robust elements such as steel, glass and concrete. As Geller describes it, “warmth against the industrial.” Opposites paired to find balance.

It is this sense of balance that makes the space feel so considered. Softness and structure. Warmth and edge. Familiarity and contrast.

Our Paris Coffee Table sits within the lounge setting, grounding the space with a distinctly modern presence. Its lustrous stainless steel form brings a cool, architectural edge to the surrounding leather, timber and brick, creating a material contrast that feels both deliberate and effortless.

For us, this is where the Paris Coffee Table feels most at home. In a space that values honest materials, thoughtful proportions and pieces that do more than simply fill a room.

The result is a space that feels open and connected, yet layered with quiet pockets of intimacy. A place designed to spark imagination, conversation and exchange.

Cinderella Deep is a reminder of the power of materiality, and how deliberate choices can completely shape the feeling of a space. Honest materials. Opposing textures. Furniture with presence. A space that invites you in, slows you down and asks you to stay a little longer.
