Nestled in the heart of Pyrmont, the Gambit Loft sits within the iconic Pyrmont Woolstores - a collection of former industrial buildings now home to some of Sydney’s most character-rich residences.
With exposed brickwork, original concrete columns and loft-like ceilings, the space carries an unmistakable sense of heritage and texture.
The loft has been thoughtfully transformed by Folk Studio into a refined, contemporary residence for its long-time owner. An organic, tactile palette of natural stone, terrazzo and soft neutrals sets a warm foundation that allows key furniture designs to shine.
Two Fleur Studios pieces sit at the centre of the redesign: the Elio Round Dining Table, anchoring the open living space with its natural and textural beauty, and the Franca Calacatta Viola, adding depth, dimension and sculptural presence. Both pieces complement the loft’s industrial heritage while introducing an elevated, modern edge.
The result is a home that feels grounded, intentional and deeply personal - a seamless interplay between historic character and modern Australian design.
The Elio and Franca find their place not just as styling accents, but as integral elements in the loft’s renewed architectural story.
