One of my favourite parts of what I do is taking Wes’s designs and imagining the world they might live in.
There is so much that goes into every campaign, from finding the location and shaping the story to considering how each piece should be styled, photographed and, ultimately, how we want it to make you feel. For our latest designs, it felt especially important to find a setting that allowed the pieces to feel at home, while still helping you envisage them in your own space.
With our second-ever seating collection, Carlo, alongside a series of new dining tables, there was so much to explore. New forms, refreshed materiality and pieces with completely different personalities. Come behind the scenes of the shoot with us.

The setting
Jai’s home felt right immediately.
Its clean lines, pared-back palette and incredible natural light gave us the perfect canvas for the collection. I loved the contrast between the cool lustre of stainless steel and the warmth of the textured render throughout the home. As the light shifted during the day, the steel changed with it, reflecting the space around it and revealing something different each time.
Alongside it, the warmth of solid American Oak felt completely at home. The Carlo series brought a softness to the setting, while its exposed joinery, natural grain and subtle curves could still be appreciated in all their detail.
The mix of materials against this beautiful backdrop felt exactly right.
Bringing the pieces to life
This was also the first Fleur Studios campaign to feature a model, which brought an entirely new feeling to the content.
Vanessa captured the effortless beauty we wanted for the collection, while helping us show the furniture in a more lived-in way. Seeing someone relax in a chair, gather around a table or simply move through the space gives the pieces a completely different sense of life. It helps show their scale, how they function and, most importantly, how they might become part of your own home and the moments that happen around them.
It was a small shift in the way we approached the campaign, but one I really loved.
The people behind it
Campaign days are always a huge collaboration, and this one brought together long-time collaborators, friends and some incredibly talented people we had been wanting to work with.
There is something very special about being surrounded by a team who understands the brand and cares about the details as much as we do. The way the light falls across a tabletop, where a chair sits within the frame, the smallest adjustment to a shot. Every decision helps shape the feeling of the final campaign.
I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who helped bring this one to life. I hope you love the collection as much as we do.
