Description

Japanese-inspired in its simplicity and materiality, the Carlo Oak Tall Stool brings the clean lines and considered detailing of the Carlo series to kitchen counters, bar settings and casual dining spaces.

Crafted entirely from solid American Oak, Carlo celebrates timber in its most honest form. Finger joints at the front face reveal the natural end grain, a nod to traditional Japanese joinery and the wabi-sabi philosophy of natural imperfection, with no two grain patterns ever quite the same. Subtle cut lines at the base of each leg finish the frame, while the gently concave seat, softened along its front edge, is shaped for lasting comfort.

Inspired by café culture and the ease of casual dining, the Carlo Oak Tall Stool forms part of a three-piece series designed to work across different table heights and settings. Refined over a year by Wes, our designer and creative director, every detail, from the curve of the seat to the exposed joinery, was tested until it felt exactly right.

Simple in silhouette yet rich in detail, Carlo brings warmth, versatility and beautiful materiality to homes and hospitality spaces alike.
